Freelance Swimwear Designer | 10/2017 - 01/2019
Appointed a part time design role for developing a conceptual swim/surf suite for their team surf ambassador Easkey Britton. The surf suite would be designed for her and Muslim surfers within different communities, trialed within their tester programs before being launched. The project conciously and respectfully addresses different clothing demands that come from different religious practices. This garment follows a growing demand for “modesty wear” within the growing sportswear market, and helps bridge cultural and gender divides through the power of surfing to connect.
