Consumers want to know who your brand is and it will go one of two ways:
1) Consumers leave not knowing or understanding what your company is all about, and never return. 
2) Consumer feel personally connected with your brand. The consumers buy your products, continually support your mission and share your brand with friends. 
I can help you do number two (that joke was my way of showing you my brand skills).

My job is to ensure everyone in the Gunnison Valley is aware of and educated on the services provided by the GVH health system. Although in healthcare, I am communicating to an outdoor community full of passionate bikers, skiers and other mountain athletes. This requires me to understand the values of this mountain town and use the proper tone/diction to effectively communicate on behalf of GVH.

In this position, I produce videos, manage social media, use email marketing, update our website, use Google Ads, organize events and use other methods of communication to reach our community up and down the Gunnison Valley.

I was contracted by INTENSE to carry out social media with the goal of increasing engagement through organic content. My focus was on Instagram where our audience is most active yet I still maintained relevance on Facebook where the audience is less engaged yet sales and site referrals are typically much higher due to the nature and capabilities of Facebook. Over three months, I am proud to have increased Facebook average reach per post from 3,906 to 12,901 and to have grown Instagram following from 116 thousand to over 123 thousand in less than three months.

Social Media Specialist

- Coordinate with coworkers, clients and strategic partners to meet multiple ongoing project deadlines
- Maintain and develop Sea Otter Classic WordPress website
- Social media marketing for bike festival and bike shop accounts with over 60k total followers using Buffer

- Managed 150 client websites using WordPress, Joomla, HTML and CSS

- Edited and optimized images for web using Illustrator and Photoshop
- Communicated with clients and coworkers to ensure problems were solved in a timely manner

Multimedia Developer

- Wrote weekly story for Strong Towns blog
- Laid out story with multimedia to be user-friendly on Squarespace
- Inbound marketing for Urban3 through Strong Towns stories
- Increased Urban3 web traffic by over 25% using strategic content creation and analytics
