The concept is a solo adventure touring the beautiful & bizarre locations across the contiguous U.S. in a camper van, sharing the photography and short stories along the way via social media and hub website. Partnering with key brands supported their social outlets with authentic content, offering engagement with their consumers to retain their attention and influence sell-through. The marketing strategy, creative direction, photoshoot location research, and brand partnerships were developed in 2014, with the wheels turning a few months later. The tour lasted 215 days covering 24,500 miles. Daily content was published at instagram.com/robbiesell and populated in the #LivingVANcariously hashtag, with weekly stories and high-quality images at www.LivingVANcariously.com.
