Freelance Apparel Designer - Etnies (Men's) Conceptualization, trend forcasting, design men’s pants, jacket’s, woven top’s, knit top’s, fleece, and accessories. • Fulfill all regional design needs • Responsible for creating and finalizing seasonal direction boards and color palette briefs with Apparel Director/Design Manager. • Design innovative and compelling apparel. On a seasonal basis develop relevant products that speak to the brand stories. • Design the cut and sew category and accessories while providing leadership and direction on all categories. • Responsible for all t-shirt techpacks, art sizing, placement, layout, and colors. • Build Tech Packs with high attention to details & accuracy. Oversee and review tech packs for all categories. • Issue Specs • Maintain/Update T/P changes, fabric card changes, spec changes throughout the design process. • Implement Visual Line Plan/Brand Overviews seasonally, maintaining overviews with all updated information with emphasis on accuracy with timely updated sketches, styles no's, vendors, fabrications, serving as a working tool for all team members working on the design/development process of the lines. • Quick-Strike Projects & Altamont Direct To Consumer special projects.

Conceptualization, trend forcasting, design and development of men’s pants, jacket’s, woven top’s, knit top’s, sweater’s, and fleece, and accessories. • Design specific categories for Altamont/oversee Emerica apparel program, including apparel/accessories design, merchandising, and sourcing. • Responsible for creating and finalizing seasonal direction and color palette briefs with Apparel Merchandise Manager. • Direction mood boards for design presentations, including color, fabric, and design inspiration. • Create and design silhouettes, print artwork, color palette, trims/embellishments. • Management of labels and trim tech packs / Complete full technical package for designs. Oversee and review tech packs for all categories. • Approval of trims, fabrics, and color lab dips for salesman samples. • Research through domestic and international travel: core, mainstream, and lifestyle accounts. • Maintain target margin costs. Work with development team and vendors to ensure costing.
