Sarah Davenport: Visual Merchandising Manager in Denver, CO

Hire, train and manage the in-store Visual Merchandising team who is responsible for the installation of window displays, corporate promotions and initiatives, and store events. I also maintain an eye for detail in regard to design, composition, merchandising and execution of quality and detail throughout the entire store. I work closely with other department managers, regional teams and vendors to properly implement merchandising presentations and maintain corporate and ADA standards. It is my responsibility to manage the department schedule and budget according to monthly projections and store sales.

Participated in a 10 week learning program where I was taught the culture of a major fashion retailer. I worked closely with a department manger to understand the daily tasks of merchandising, selling and creating customer relationships in the unique way that Nordstrom does.
