Peak business hours depend on the events across the street at the Performing Arts and Convention Centers and knowing those events is essential. Be ready for quick high-volume moments and then be able to keep busy and stock for next rush. Team takes turns creating a special mystery cocktail for the week. Responsible for prep day, making syrups and pre-made batches for upcoming week.

Establish a rapport with regular clientele. Responsible for opening bar including making mixes, cutting fruit, and setting up the next bartender for success. Work as a team, serve and bus tables whenever possible. Be trusted to take the restaurant solo. Know daily food specials and rotating cocktails.

Know the history of the Boulderado. Carry a very professional attitude treating every customer as if they were a guest staying in the hotel. Be experienced with classic cocktails, beers, wines, and spirits and be able to talk about the extensive lists. Understand the food menus from the three different restaurants/bars in the hotel. Spread the word about upcoming entertainment and frequent live music.

Very high-volume bar be able to generate over $2,500 in sales while attracting regulars. Responsible for opening and stocking bar on select nights. Responsible for setting up satellite bar on select nights.
