My name is Steve Fromm and i am a self-starting and highly motivated IT professional.  I have been working in the IT field for the last 4 years. I am skilled in internet protocols, VOiP, diagnostics, computer hardware, software, Microsoft Office, Desktops, Laptops, and printers.  

I am currently running my own business called Steve Fromm Consulting which helps local small businesses with all there IT needs.  I am also in charge of all accounting for three different companies.  I was able to take the company from no clients to five clients in a matter of months.  Previously i have worked for companies like Microsoft, and Cotton On.

Colleagues know me as a highly creative IT professional who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach. But I know that the client’s business comes first, and I never try to impose my ideas on others. Instead, I spend a lot of time understanding the business and the audience before suggesting ideas. I can (and often do) work well alone, but I’m at my best collaborating with others.

I have an Associates degree from Cerritos College in Norwalk, California.

Provision and implement VOIP telephone technologies.  Responsible for entering multiple companies financial information into Quickbooks.  Provide technical support over the phone and on-site to 10+ clients.  Set up and deploy computers, printers, and mobile devices needed in clients small businesses.

Responsible for updating Active Directory for new users.  Updating servers and user computers.  Provision and deploy mobile devices such as, iPhone, Android, Windows Phone.  Used Remote Desktop to connect, troubleshoot, and repair software issues with Windows 7 and 8.1 systems.

Desktop Support Technician

Provided call center support for 160 US stores as well as 5 warehouses in different countries.  Used Citrix to deploy apps and provision phones for VIP's in the company.  Provided internal support at the warehouse and office that i was stationed at.

Manage all finances of the corporation, balance the budget, design and proposed budget for 2013.
