Launched expansion of Red Wing Shoes in North America, a 100-year-old traditional work boot brand into the footwear fashion
market. Remotely led and managed all aspects of the business developing a first-time business plan, sales strategy, and sales force,
creating a North American distribution strategy and leveraging the organization's existing national manufacturing capacity. Grew the Red Wing Heritage business into one of the most recognizable lifestyle brands in the marketplace.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
? With full P & L accountability for North America, developed and channeled resources around a specific brand and
distribution strategy that targeted specialty independent and premium national retailers and became the foundation for year over year success and growth
? Built and managed an experienced sales force of 25 in North America and Canada that led to dynamic growth. Directly
managed leading National Accounts and directed the Sales team in the management of independent retailers as well as retailers such as Brooks Brothers, Nordstrom, Bloomingdales, J Crew, Zappos, REI, Filson and Orvis.
? Partnered with Product Development and Merchandising team to build and maintain a collection of products that became
staples in the men's Heritage footwear marketplace
? Managed cross-functional participation between, Sales, Marketing, Planning, Manufacturing, and Finance keeping
departments involved and up to date with on-going communication and collaborative decision making
? Lead for the brand for all product partnerships and collaborations with leading retailers and designers such as J Crew, Brooks
Brothers, Todd Snyder, Concepts and Ronnie Fieg.
? Partnered closely with manufacturing teams to assure accurate capacity planning and efficiencies

? Grew this new venture from concept to $35 million business in course of tenure. Enhanced product lines from six styles to forty-eight to appeal to the fashion marketplace, establishing first time presence in premium retailer business
? In 2016 successfully launched Red Wing Heritage Women's line to premium independent retailers across North America
? Spearheaded and established working relationships with other complimentary brands in the Men's Heritage fashion market,
which helped fuel the growth of the overall market segment over the past decade
