Responsible for identifying, developing and presenting 3-5 monthly trend & color directions for company-wide/global product within Women’s, Men’s & Home divisions.
Created the Forever 21 Branded Shop; from internal logistics, branded vendor procedures thru to attending global trade shows across all categories to scout all brands for the program and, ultimately, negotiate their vendor agreements.
At the forefront of all new company initiatives that are product related or creative to inform, make recommendations and often lead the project cross functionally across departments.
Continually examine how Forever 21 compares to its competitors and partner with company owners in order to further develop new (internal or outward facing) strategies to enhance global presence.
Create concept direction for all seasonal marketing campaigns for print or digital media.
Direct & scout tastemakers from all ages ranges for our global trend council.
Scout, manage and negotiate contracts for all collaborations, outside creative agencies as well as for freelance design.
Review the work of the buying, merchandising and product development teams making sure that all
product stays trend consistent and seasonally color appropriate.
Research and provide seasonal reports on all new emerging marketplace trends including music, art, fashion, cinema and pop culture as well as merchandise offerings from competitors.
