In this role you will be responsible for generating awareness, maintaining market share and the overall growth of the Spinning brand and the complete line of products. The marketing manager will work to ensure all marketing communications are aligned with the Spinning brand strategy, and manage the development and coordination of marketing programs, promotional activities, and market research to further the Company’s sales objectives.

The successful candidate will team with our domestic and international internal teams and external partners to scope project needs, develop strategy and deliver inspiring programs and materials. Must be able to master the details and not lose sight of the big picture as well as multi-task.


Duties and Responsibilities

· Experience executing tactics across multiple marketing channels such as online, direct mail, tradeshow and print, as well for as multiple target audiences.
· Ensure brand consistency across all marketing programs and communication initiatives.
· Develop and execute marketing plans and programs, both long-range and short-term to ensure the profitable growth and expansion of brands.
· Provide creative, strategic and tactical input to prepare detail annual marketing calendar, which will be followed up and organized through inter-departmental meetings to support specific marketing objectives for clubs, training, apparel, international business and events.
· Responsible for all collateral content, content for advertisements, presentations and electronic communications such as mass emails and website content, organizing and editing the monthly newsletter, and coordinating freelance talent.
· Manage website updates and email communications.
· Field advertising, event sponsorship and promotion inquiries.
· Manage public relations initiatives. Responsibilities include: writing press releases, creating and maintaining media list, fostering relationships with magazine editors.




Job Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing or a related field
· 6-8 years experience developing corporate marketing strategy/ branding/marketing communications.
· Excellent proofreading and copywriting skills as evidenced by a portfolio of relevant marketing communications projects – e.g., marketing plans, creative briefs, advertising, direct mail, sales collateral, etc.
· Proven track record of developing and driving effective consumer and commercial marketing programs.
· Professional network and development of extended media contacts and resources.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Strong multi-tasking abilities essential.
· Fitness industry experience a plus.
