Manage a team of four employees to efficiently and effectively promote four arts
organizations within UAB; the Abroms-Engel Institute for Visual Design (AEIVA),
Alys Stephens Center (ASC), ArtPlay Community Education (ArtPlay) and UAB Arts
in Medicine (AIM). Creative responsibilities include; oversight and implementation of identity branding, logo design, websites, digital design, posters, flyers, signage,
print/digital publications, direct photo and TV shoots while working with in the UAB
Brand Toolkit guidelines with UAB Digital Marketing colleagues.
Marketing responsibilities include; managing yearly budget of $300k to strategically
market AEIVA, ASC, ArtPlay and AIM through marketing plans that include print,
social media, TV and radio with the goal of increasing attendance, ticket revenue,
class sign-ups and donations. Goals were achieved by working with local media

UAB's Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center Created an art department to work
as an in house agency. Management of free-lancers, staff artist, photographers and writers. Concepted and produced three issues of "The Center Magazine" featuring
season performances and art classes. Work included logo design, identity systems,
point of purchase, outdoor and print design.
THB, Creative Consulting Work included print design and coordinating print
production for regional fast food chain, Jack's Restaurant and high-end fashion
jewelry company, Jordan Alexander Jewelry.
Luckie & Company Work included AmSouth Bank and Regions Bank corporate
and customer communications; Sunbelt foods packaging, point of purchase
display's and outdoor campaigns.
