Responsible for overseeing the entire product development process from conception to launch, which includes market research, design, sourcing, fabric management, prototyping, and testing. Work with clients assigned to design services on developing their designs from initial concept ideation and pre-production. Conduct intake meetings with each assigned client to ascertain and review the overall needs of each project, provide input to clients, and inform them of their options and choices. Provide creative guidance and branding vision to Emerging Designers to develop their collections. Prepare clients' designs for development and production, and translate clients' ideas into tangible designs. Create initial project decks, mood boards, logos, flat drawings, design concepts, and any other visual assets needed for each project. Offer sourcing services, with a focus on fabric and trim sourcing, identifying fabric yields and quantities, and establishing pricing and availability of goods. Provide Fabric Management services, including Fabric Printing, Dye, and Wash. Manage project timelines and budgets; giving them an understanding of market trends, customer insights, and technical capabilities to develop innovative and successful products. Collaborate with the Pattern Makers team to translate customer needs into product concepts and specifications. Oversee the prototyping process, ensuring designs meet technical feasibility and functionality. Manage several projects simultaneously and generate sample POs.

Create concise comments and communications to factories. Lead the entire fit process from 1st prototype to final fit approvals. Keep approved samples for reference and fit history. Establish and maintain standards for minimum spec requirements, including construction. Provide complete and articulate fit comments. Manage and facilitate the communication of all information necessary to create the garment. Analyze garments to determine compliance of spec, construction, and fit intent. Facilitate the fit session on a live model and/or mannequin. Collaborate with designers, supervisors, and partners to ensure the desired product is achieved while retaining the production schedule. Ability to correct patterns as needed for the best possible fit. Review grading and offer solutions to the technical team on any grading issues.
