Develop technical specifications; communicate fit to vendors for corrections and approvals at the development and production stage. Establish and maintain standards for minimum spec requirements, including construction. Provide complete and articulate fit comments. Manage and facilitate the communication of all information necessary to create the garment. Analyze garments to determine compliance of spec, construction, and fit intent. Facilitate the fit session on a live model and/or mannequin. Collaborate with designers, supervisors, and partners to ensure the desired product is achieved while retaining the production schedule. Ability to correct patterns as needed for the best possible fit. Review grading and offer solutions to the technical team on any grading issues. Make sure proportions are maintained throughout the size and make adjustments for smaller or larger sizes. Apply established grade rules to approved styles. Create new grade rules that complement the established grade rules and the style being graded. Analyze tech packs for accuracy and completeness.
