Having worked with hundreds of music labels, artists, and sales distribution channels, I have first-hand experience managing all aspects of the music business – be it production, label relations, product management, marketing, promotions, digital content management, distribution & sales, and new media marketing. I will manage all the elements and be the conduit you need to get to the finish line. Bringing more than 20 years of experience, I’m excited to work with people who are passionate about music, committed to collaboration, and driven to succeed with expanded platforms and the integration of music and new media.

The Avila Brothers: 4x grammy producers have a track record over 28 album titles with 32 million worldwide albums sold. Managed product, marketing and production for 4x Grammy award-winners’ digipack release The Mood: Soundsational featuring 12” vinyl, CD, posters, postcards and stickers.

Joshua Records: Direct responsibility was to quarterback the release of Christian Oldies,Heaven Bound CD. Coordinated Christian Oldies, Heaven Bound with  Lowrider magazine for representation in magazine and car shows. Lowrider's average monthly circulation at it's peak was over 210,000 copies. Managed the layout and production for Joshua records physical catalog as well as coordinated the labels digital footprint.

Monster Music:  Developed multi-channel, integrated marketing plan for Monster Music featuring Beats by Dr. Dre. and originated the “Sound Really Matters” campaign concept. Marketing plan incl. advertising, radio promotion, retail (Best Buy, Amazon, iTunes), mobile/digital marketing, social media, PR/experiential marketing.

MC Magic:  Managed production, marketing and digital distribution for 2006 Magic City release, charting at #1 on Billboard's Top Heatseekers, #60 for Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums and 2008 Magic City II, charting at #6 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers. Drove 500k+ digital units and 140k physical units

Managed and coordinated production of all retail ready products (physical & digital) CD, vinyl, dvd, print material, advertising, media buys, licensing agreements, credits, artwork, sequencing, mastering, manufacturing, email marketing campaigns and web marketing / optimization. Managed digital delivery of metadata and online digital marketing. Coordinate audio source masters into Universal Music Portal platform for our digital partners. Successes include:

Thumps Old School compilation collection has sold more then 200,000 units. Serviced radio for promotion of the Old School collection as well as label branding.

Bootsy Collins- Play with Bootsy represented Bootsy’s 12th studio album. Originally released by East-West Warner Music Group in Germany. Released in the US through Thump/Universal. Product Manager, Digital/Physical/Production/Marketing	

Managed marketing and label relations for label portfolio generating $20 million annual revenue including Death Row, Fantasy Jazz, SPV, and Alligator. Developed marketing campaigns and promotions for more than 200 independent labels including Matador, Rounder, Acony and Oh Boy. Instrumental in driving DNA business unit annual revenue growth 300% in 4 years from $25 million to $100 million. Promoted in 1998 from Assoc. Marketing Manager.

Owned marketing strategy, plans and campaigns for 60 labels including retail and digital marketing, promotions, advertising copy and creative, Soundscan and sales analysis, publicity, Marketing leadership for rollout of complete Death Row catalog of 18 remastered titles, 51 barcodes on a single streetdate, and $4.5 million in revenue. Also managed production, manufacturing, retail, awareness and radio promotion.

Too Gansta For Radio featuring unreleased 2Pac Shakur tracks, charting at #15 on Billboard’s Independent Albums. 

Billing a million plus  a month Fantasy Jazz Inc. was one of the biggest independent labels I was responsible for. Successful campaigns “Add Creedence To Your Summer”,”Miles & Miles of Miles Davis” and “The Stax Story”.

Designed and launched national retail and consumer marketing campaigns to achieve revenue targets and managed $1.7 million Ad Co-op Budget.

Marketing Manager and Label Relations	

Managed new and existing accounts including inventory management and product retail capability. Record label data management for marketing and sale projections. Marketed and promoted over $1 million in advertising co-op with Tower Records, Best Buy, and Circuit City for Iron Maiden’s re-mastered back catalog (Raw Power/Castle Music import), which has sold 7+ million units in U.S.

Marketing and Promotions Specialist

Responsible for sales of Pro Audio and Video Tape incl. achieving revenue quotas, sales analysis, purchasing and inventory management 

Point person for all major Seattle recording studios and managed tape sales for Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, Mad Season, Foo Fighters, Screaming Trees, Sir Mix Alot and more.

Exceeded monthly $100k sales goals to recording studios and bands incl. Seattle Mariners, Seattle Supersonics, Avast Recording, Studio Litho, London Bridge Studios, Curtis Mgmt, Bad Animals Studio, Reciprocal Studio

Sales And Purchasing Manager

Production of radio ads, board operations for remote broadcasts, promotions, DJ music selection, and management of format switch from vinyl to CD. Assisted over 144 hours with production and promotion of History of Classic Rock A-Z. By far the biggest promotion in 102.5 KZOK history; Produced commercial spots that aired during music breaks.
