International governing body for competitive freeskiing. Responsible for the successful leadership and management of the organization according to the strategic direction set by the Board.
Through the organization and management of a World Tour spanning 18 countries and 100+
events, we developed structure and governance to the sport - which ultimately led to freeskiing's
inclusion in the 2014 Winter Olympics.
• Leadership & Management: Ensure ongoing program excellence, rigorous evaluation, and consistent quality of finance and administration, fundraising and communications
• Operational Planning & Management: Develop and oversee an operational plan that
incorporates goals and objectives that fit within the strategic direction of the organization.
Monitor the day-to-day delivery of programs and services to improve deliverables to members, events and sponsors
• International Communications: Work closely with National Governing Bodies (NGBs)
and/or National Ski Associations to establish protocol and processes to grow the sport.
Liaise with FIS for purposes of judging education and dual sanctioning of events
• Financial Management: Establish comprehensive annual budget and present to Board for approval. Develop and execute fundraising strategy. Maintain and report on monthly
program budgets. Deliver comprehensive recaps to sponsors outlining value and ROI

Executive Director

Hired on a contract basis for the past 2 years as the Freeski & Snowboard Manager for the Winter
Games NZ. Worked remotely for first 2 months, then onsite for 7 weeks during event delivery.
Responsible for the successful planning, execution and delivery of four FIS World Cup and Junior
World Championship events and live TV production.
• Led the development and implementation of project plan for all ski & snowboard events
• Worked closely with Cardrona Events & Park team, Production Manager and volunteers to deliver superior quality courses and competitions
• Assumed role of Chief of Competition insuring proper management of all trainings and competitions. Worked closely with FIS officials adhering to rules and regulations
• Led all sport communications including athletes, coaches, federations, officials, judges and led all Team Captain's meetings nightly

American sales teams, including recruitment, training and quota allotment. Led expansion into South America yielding revenue increase of 75% and 123% increase in market share. Secured
partnerships with leading medical societies and Fortune 500 clients including Allergan, Mentor, J&J Ethicon, and CareCredit.

Automotive. Success with KIA project and $500k in additional revenue led to managing flagship account, AOL. Awards include: Event Marketer Magazine Award: Best Multi-Venue Event (’05 AOL Broadband), PROMO 100 Agency Award 2004-06, 2004 Event Marketer Magazine Award: Best Retail Initiative (’04 AOL/Best Buy).
