Was responsible for implementing a major design upgrade change for a sun/bull gear assembly involving metal spray coatings, chamfers, and interference fits. Worked closely with TFE 731 business jet engine, eliminating outstanding engineering changes. Worked closely with the HTS900 and T53 helicopter engine to resolve outstanding engineering changes needed to improve manufacturing and life of parts. Facilitated and completed a project reducing scrap rate for carburized gears saving the company $500k/year. Green Belt Six Sigma, GD&T and CATIA V5 certified.
