I was hired at Innes immediately following the hostile reclamation by the original owner Matt Hensley and new business partner from a rouge president. The brand was still in demand but the business was in a shambles. I was tasked with rebuilding retailer relationships as well as the sales and marketing infrastructure and sales force. Through old school face to face relationship building, a new and excited rep force and back to basics marketing, we were able to not only recover from the slide but to increase sales by 42% the first year and another 14% the second. Almost more important were the improvements in vendor, dealer and distributor support.
