My role is to establish, manage and execute Vanguard’s expansion into North America by driving sales through the presentation of a unified product and marketing strategy that reflected the overall brand message of the Vanguard. As managing director of the business, my role was to develop and execute the global business, brand and marketing strategy for Vanguard. I oversaw all aspects of day to day business from range planning and design to production, delivery, sales and financial matters.
Role & Responsibilities:
Business
• Create business plans, P&L’s, IM’s for both internal reporting and financial investment purposes
• Mange the company cashflow requirements
• Develop and execute short and long term global business strategy across wholesale and e-commerce channels
• Create and implement budgets across all channels and business sections
• Establish, manage and drive teams to deliver against the brand plan and seasonal initiatives through focus, leadership and discipline around key efforts
Marketing
• Develop and execute the marketing plan in line with the global brand strategy
• Set, communicate & negotiate key initiatives to drive brand strength as an extension of the business strategy
• Create and execute seasonal marketing stories that align with the global brand strategy and drive both sell-in and sell-through initiatives to wholesale accounts
