Revitalized the external Department of State website, over the course of 6 months after staffing reductions threatened the outcome of the project by working overtime to edit and streamline detailed submissions from 7 divisions with a 100% acceptance rate enabling project completion by the agreed upon deadline.
Ensured flight information and hundreds of other important aspects of the Assistant Secretary’s travel materials were delivered promptly, by working overtime when regional military conflict introduced significant uncertainty immediately preceding his departure for the Middle East.
Liaised with high-level Peruvian delegation, including the Vice President of Peru to generate diplomatic support within the U.S. Department of State for Peru’s bid to join the OECD, when my supervisor couldn’t attend at the last minute due to an important scheduling conflict.

Designed action plans, developed inventory maps, and partnered with operations department regarding luggage, housewares, china, and crystal products, while managing a team of 25 employees to complete inventory after the close of two extremely busy holiday seasons, when my supervisor was out sick and unable to serve as inventory manager.
Taught product knowledge to a team of 10 talented home department salespeople through the development of an interactive series of word search activities containing information relevant to Calvin Klein merchandise, to decrease the amount of merchandise returned to the store due to product recommendations that didn’t work out for customers.
Successfully led regional efforts to drive mobile point of sale transactions by teaching salespeople how to use the devices efficiently and accurately. During the 2012 holiday season, Macy’s downtown Seattle was 1st in the region and 5th in the nation in processing mobile point of sale transactions using the devices.
