Joshua Miller: Leadership and Technical Development Program - Operations Track in Booneville, MS

My love of awesome things with steering wheels (and handle bars too!) has culminated in beginning a career with Caterpillar, maker of awesome (and huge!) things with steering wheels. This program focuses around making a well-rounded manufacturing and supply chain manager over the course of three years, and three different jobs. The first job involves being a manufacturing engineer (or project engineer in my case), then a functional role in supply chain (such as purchasing), and finally a manufacturing floor supervisor. With each job role lasting a full year, there is plenty of time to become immersed in your area and become a truly functional team member; this affords the opportunity to achieve things of substance.
