Director of Marketing and New Business Development

•	Successfully grew and optimized the non-membership dues revenue streams by activating individual and corporate member participation and purchases of FPA products, services, sponsorships and programs.  
•	Created and launched the publication arm “FPA Press” which orchestrated knowledge based publications for members. This area grew into a new division within the organization.
•	Lead and worked within many cross-functional teams to develop strategic marketing and business development plans.
•	Established a centralized marketing team and function for the organization that increased revenues.
•	Redesigned the membership website and developed a revenue generating web portal connecting financial planners with potential clients.

Director of Marketing

•	Lead the operational oversight of membership recruitment and retention, accreditation, standards of practice, committee relations (volunteer recruitment, orientation, and communications), public relations, and marketing of products, services and programs. 
•	Cultivated a culture of communication with the Board of Directors, committee chairs and members on key issues associated with the organization and their respective activities.
•	Presented to key institutions (National Institute of Health, NIH) and individuals to further the progression of Sleep Medicine as a recognizable area of medicine. 
•	Managed staff to achieve directives and goals within each of the organizations’ committees.
•	Moved organization from MN to IL. Successfully hired and transitioned a new staffing unit for the organization as over 90% of the staff elected not to relocate. Managed the logistics of moving offices and established the specifications of the new offices.

Assistant Executive Director

•	Managed the staff and schedule for two health and fitness centers for Mayo Clinic employees.
•	Conducted orientations and presentations to new members.
•	Managed the equipment maintenance and purchases.
•	Prepared and presented usage data and member needs to benefactor to secure additional funding allowing for the building of a second facility on campus.
