Essential Functions • Assists in the preparation and review of lump sum, unit rate, and cost plus estimates and in the preparation of conceptual estimating cost analysis. • Responsible for estimating, coordinating, and consolidating each of the disciplines estimates into the Proposal Estimate • Reviews design scopes and develops quantities • Performs productivity analysis of construction operations • Prepares direct labor estimates, distributable or contractors' indirect cost estimates • Prepares contingency, escalation, and reconciliation for estimates • Performs comparisons of scope, quantities, and cost data between projects • Prepares management presentations • Updates and maintains historical cost data • Reviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives where appropriate • Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements

Essential Functions • Provide leadership and training to develop the skills of Project Estimators and others on the estimating team. • Supervise, direct, and lead the estimating team to the timely and accurate completion of solar PV estimates. • Conduct estimating system training for all estimators and others as necessary. • Create and communicate standards for estimating electrical design/build projects. • Create, maintain, and upgrade the estimating system, database (units and prices), and assemblies. • Review and evaluate requests for estimates, including RFPs, as well as commercial, industrial, and utility-scale projects. • Prepares bid calendar(s) and ensures timely completion of estimates. • Reviews estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy. • Analyze project actuals and estimated costs to maintain pricing consistency and a competitive edge within the Solar PV markets, including the US and International markets. • Prepares cost analysis by recapitulating Material, Labor, Equipment, Subcontractor, and Overhead costs incurred in the installation of items. • Evaluate and recognize industry trends and perform market analyses as requested. • Analyze market pricing conditions and implement an appropriate pricing strategy. • Review and evaluate Prevailing Wage rates per region. • Review and evaluate the material Tariff impacts per region. • Review company projects and compare, on a timely basis, to as-sold estimates to confirm the accuracy of the estimate.
