In September 2014 I started working for a small company called HGS Exhaust systems, that manufactures after-market exhaust systems for motorcycles. For this company I conducted research and wrote my bachelor thesis, focused on improving HGS’s international distribution network. I presented a report including my research analyses and recommendations to the company’s management. hereafter I devised a comprehensive pricing list, planned product roadmaps and improved the company’s distribution channel network. This improved sales performance and enhanced the business relationship. Here I applied and developed my competencies of communicating and interacting with companies located in various countries influenced by different cultures.

I rotated through a variety of business functions at Arista Business Imaging Solutions based in the San Francisco Bay Area. This was a tremendous way to develop broad insights and understand the core of the business, which I was able to leverage in several of my projects. I automated Arista’s inventory service system, which saved five to ten minutes per service call and resulted in overall cost reduction and improved customer satisfaction. I was also able improve and reorganize the total physical inventory, improving processing and overall space management for faster service. Working with the different departments helped me build upon my communication skills, resourcefulness, and showed me how to effectively combine business strategy and operations to create comprehensive solutions.
