DIRECTOR OF SALES -Consumer Goods, B2B/B2C Sales, Executive Strategy, Supply Chain, P&L | 05/2015 - 10/2019

Originally hired as the Director of IT, but it became clear to management that I have a talent for building highly effective teams and meeting business objectives. So when Electra was acquired, I was asked to take over the national sales effort as the Director of Sales. This new role came with a multi-million dollar P&L and budget, a sales force to rebuild, and a multi-channel portfolio of accounts. We sell through several channels B2B and B2C, in brick-and-mortar retail (IBD). Some of the areas I was expected to improve upon was sales force numbers, inventory issues, client relationships, and business reporting. AS THE DIRECTOR OF SALES… ▸ Reenergized the sales force ▸ Established clear sales goals and guided the team towards the win, exceeding quotas in every category including sales growth, profitability, key client growth, eCommerce, and accessories (B2C) ▸ Saved millions in inventory loss and reduced days-on-hand ▸ Earned the “Vendor Partner of the Year, 2017” award with a strategic partner, that means we were in the top 25 out of 2000 vendors ▸ Restructured sales territories, so that sales reps could better meet the needs of smaller specialized markets – we also now follow KPIs by the hour rather than at the end of the month ▸ Author and present annual executive sales plan and strategy to the President
