I have worked both in the retail industry as well as the manufacturing/Printing industry and have experienced an assortment of scenarios which I have learned from. I managed about 14 employees at The Home Depot and over 30 employees at Nextdayflyers. At Nextdayflyers I have learned a lot about Lean Manufacturing and ISO Standards. I was directly involved in writing and creating all the procedures and doccumentation for the departments I managed and standardized the processes in order to sustain and control the work flow for my area.

Managed a warehouse staff of 20+ employees, oversaw all packaging, shipping and receiving operations daily in order to meet our deadlines. Developed procedures and structure in order to standardize our process and reduce errors. Trained, hired and fired direct reports along with managing two plants (Compton, CA. and Saddle Brook, NJ.), as well as performing weekly and monthly inventory counts in order to keep accurate counts. Worked with Customer Service to reduce and eliminate any communication gaps to better serve our customers. Implemented and performed Lean principles in order to eliminate waste and improve efficiencies.
