Andrew Simmons: in Long Beach, CA

Duties: Graphic and print design, making repeat ready artwork for prints, creating yarn dye fabrics (specifically in rayons and linens), updating digital library and artwork boards, using Pantone colors and physical swatches to create all color palettes, and for verification of print colors, making hangtags and production tags for garments, buyer packages, and POS tagging.

Duties: Mastering knitting machine processes for knit fabrics, creating knit fabrics from pre-programmed knits on both Stoll and Shima machines. Creating yarn blends specific to knit design patterns, creating mock up artwork for original embroideries and embellishments, creating CAD layouts for stone designs

Duties: Assisting with in store, online, and phone orders/sales, providing customer service to all clients, creating in store merchandise displays with creativity while following floor plan guidelines.

Duties: Running Mimaki JV 300 Mass production digital print machines, creating repeat ready artwork for all prints produced, creating original artwork for all table covers, banners, posters, and placement prints, supervising and coordinating all interns and internship related activities and duties, assisting CEO with all print production and cutting coordination and time management for both samples and production.

Duties: greeting all clients, handling forms for HIV and STD testing, counting client attendance to groups/small events held at the center, answering phones and finding solutions for all clients/intake, and finding volunteers for events for both in-house and larger scale events held by The Center. Going to events to hand out information packets/brochures for The Center, calling Volunteers to join in community outreach, and going out to local LGBT friendly establishments to hand out STI/HIV prevention and treatment info, as well as protection. 2nd LANGUAGE: FRENCH
