Hired to improve sales in the Southeast Territory and drive the B&I business. Present to potential customers (hotels, food stores and large companies) with samples of new product as well as PowerPoint presentations. Collect on unpaid invoices or PO’s as needed.
• Grew territory to 350 national accounts both local and national
• Developed relationships with large contract feeders such as Sodexho and Compass Group to improve sales in the Southeast territory to drive the B&I business.
• Promoted in 2010 to manage 15 outside sales reps on the east coast, coaching new sales techniques with them as well as ride along’s to check progress in growing their territories. Perform yearly evaluations as well collecting expense reports from the reps and promptly tuning them in to accounting.
• Managed Distribution Channel for bar snacks to the hotels using smaller distributors to have better coverage in all service areas
• Sell product to large retailers as well including Target, Walgreens and other food and grocery chains.
Territory has exceeded projections of 24,000 a month since April of 2010, at the beginning of each quarter I sit down with national sales manager to plan and forecast the upcoming quarter in regards to quota for each rep and general sales expectations.
