Current student working towards graduate degree in Engineering Management.  Bachelor's in Construction Engineering.  Extremely motivated, career driven, organized, team player. 10 years with City of Poway in various roles giving me hands on experience in different areas.

This is a journey-level classification in the customer services field worker class series. Responsibilities require the use of tact, discretion, and independent judgment and frequent interaction with the public. Responsibilities include inspecting and attending to assigned areas in a timely manner, and performing a wide variety of tasks in the maintenance and reading of water meters. 
Working independently as well as with a team is of utmost importance.  Prioritizing jobs is a must in this position.

This is the full journey-level class in the water utilities maintenance series that performs the full range of duties required to ensure that City infrastructure, systems, and facilities to which assigned are maintained in a safe and effective working condition and provide the highest level of safety for public use. Record keeping, daily reports, and work logs are all vital in this position so that they may be referred to for later reference.

Water Utility Worker

Concrete and asphalt removal/replacement, traffic control, knowledge of job site safety, are all key responsibilities in this position.  Record keeping, daily logs, reporting to supervisor all key roles in this position.
