- Global creative direction and development of all Burton Snowboards hardgoods including boards, boots, and bindings.
- Managed the creative direction and development of all ANON goggles and helmets.
- Approximate total 3,060 SKU’s/year across all categories.
- Concept development, graphic design and execution of any internally developed hardgoods product.
- Established Burton’s first internal hardgoods creative team with the Design Director.
- Established a new creative development process per category that positively impacted overall efficiency, team building, end product and budgets.
- Management, concept development and execution of collaborations with outside parties as they pertain to board, binding, boot, helmet and goggle graphics. Projects include: Star Wars, The Muppets, Toy Story, The Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, Andy Warhol, Jimi Hendrix and Jean-Michel Basquiat board graphic series.
- Extensive market research through global trade show attendance (SIA, ISPO, Bread & Butter, Bright, Agenda, ASR, Art Basel, etc.), competitive analysis, trend forecasting, research and direction for men’s and women’s hardgoods product design.
- Responsible for researching, contracting, managing, scheduling and art directing freelance designers, design agencies and illustrators.
- Color management of entire hardgoods line.
- Initiated strong lines of communication with team athletes, global sales reps and distributers to develop relevant product designs within their markets.
- Led and developed internal and external global hardgoods creative presentations.
- Worked closely with a variety of global factories as well as our internal production teams to develop new levels of printing and production standards.
- Responsible for the development, management and success of co-merchandising key products within the hardgoods line.
- Responsible for budget management and any contract/retainer negotiations relating to creative.

- Led the creation and development of the complete global visual brand aesthetic.
- Led the creative direction and graphic design for the entire line of snowboards. Researched, selected, managed and directed all freelance artists.
- Responsible for concept development, presentations, and execution of all final designs.
- Worked directly with the marketing department and team athletes on concept development and execution of all national and international advertising campaigns.
- Responsible for leading design and development of the website as well as the annual dealer and consumer catalogs.
- Designed and directed softgoods products including, but not limited to, men’s and women’s apparel, beanies, caps, gloves and bags.
- Worked closely with apparel designers to develop women’s categories including cut-and-sew garments.
