At TVG, my role as a horse racing producer was to lead a production team in creating high quality, entertaining, creative studio and remote shows. My daily goal was to provide upwards of $1 million in account wagering. Over a five-year period I produced shows that accumulated over $1 billion dollars in wagering revenue. A day of producing for TVG would consist of coordinating producing live horse racing coverage, leading the graphics team, developing segments, prepping studio and remote on-air talent, scheduling live interviews, promoting various upcoming events, re-setting the show each hour, welcoming in various networks (Prime Ticket, MSG+, MASN, FS1, FS Ohio, FS Florida, SportSouth etc). It was hectic, demanding and a lot of fun.

ESPN is the most successful network in television history. I was in the engine room of studio production for 15 years; I worked on every major ESPN studio show including SportsCenter. Along with producing ESPNews in 98 million homes, I was the feature producer for Baseball Tonight, whereupon, I traveled from Spring Training through the World Series interviewing, writing and editing feature pieces. For eight years I worked on ESPN’s NFL shows, five of those years was working for their highest rated show – Monday Night Countdown. I also managed a production team of over 150 ESPN staff.
