Hoa Do: Operation Manager

Manage operations for company from product development to production for all divisions of the company. I also develop forms and POs to send to contractors oversea and locally. I help to keep track of production via WIP report and make sure that delivery is maintained. Help to resolve production issues and info customers of any changes in production due to technical design issues.

Buy fabric and trims for production order with nominated suplpiier from customer (Fabletics). I would maintain the fabric/trim WIP for our factory in Vietnam so they know when to expect goods for production. I ordered al teh bras, hang tags, etc. as well. I would push customer for approval if I know the lead tiem for fabric is long and I would also advise customer if prodctuion goods are damaged so they an advsie how they want to proceed wtih thier nomiatned supplier

Oversee production for cover ups and swimwear with factories in China and Indonesia for Kohls, Swimsuits 4 all, Catherine, and Anthropologie. Kept a WIP to ensure that delivery is maintain. Rview testing reports to make sure care instructiosn are meeting standards set by customer's guideline. Resolve any issues that come up to ensure quality and delivery is maintained.

Maintain the fabric and trim library for all division within the company. I also make sure the fabric designers needed for sample were in stock at all time. I also developed new fabric with our China mills for designer to use. If there was any prce issue with fabrics or trim I would try to negoiate prices with vendor or suggest a cheaper alternative for designers to use. Made sure that all fabrics/trims used by designers are within price range of our customers so we are not useing expensire fabrics.

Develop new fabrics for designers with our China factory. Maintain fabric library with exact details of each fabrics developed. Make sure that fabric being developed is within price range for our customers. Source same fabrics with our various China factories to get hte best price for production order. I would make sure that we always had rolls of our basic fabrics for designers to use everyone month

Prepare tech packs for product development. Received and logged in samples sent by China factory. Spec and arrange for fitting sessions with fit model. Took detail notes of corrects during fitting and sent comments to factory to fix fo production. Send graded specs to factory after fit is approved. Also developed print patterns using Illustrator program

Oversaw production for Target, Maurices, Kohls, Nordstrom orders. Kept a WIP report and update daily to make sure production submits are approved on time. Made sure factory tested garments to ensure that care instructiosn are meeting standards set by customer's vendor guide. Make sure that all labels are order with correct supplier and that garments are packed accordign to POs packing instructions.
