-Actively participated in the design and launch of seasonal lines from inception to completion -Interface internally with all departments to gather inspiration information to apply to seasonal design development -Research market regularly for creative ideas, product awareness and pricing in order to present ideas that are well researched and brand appropriate -Oversee assistant in creating, maintaining and distributing all program updates and presentation boards -Create and maintain line sheets, flat sketches and tech packs -Create original hand sketches and illustrator flats of style groups based on concept/direction from Creative Director -Apply extensive knowledge of garment construction in creating technical specs -Understand and take an active role in the production process by liaising and coordinating between design and production teams to begin and complete sampling -Design graphics and develop concepts for branding and trims -Assist with research and development of seasonal trends and concepts that coordinate with brand’s overall aesthetic -Plan and execute seasonal line sheet -Sourcing trims and metals from local vendors and mills -Liaise between press and showroom to coordinate sample distribution
