At this medical device manufacturer, I was part of a warehouse team. We were cross trained to be able to perform any warehouse function. As a warehouse clerk, my duties included daily receiving of raw material using an ERP system (WMS) and route them to proper departments. Oversee daily pulling of orders to be shipped that day. Communicate with Customer Service about inventory levels. Work with Quality Control to process finished goods, returned goods, and the processing of shipments bound for sterilization. Responsible for moving material from one building to another. Familiar with domestic and international shipping utilizing UPS, FDX shipping systems, freight forwarders. Made sure that we had adequate shipping supplies and that maintained a clean hazard free working environment and adhere to our QSR, MIs, SOPs and ISO standards.
