Juana is a self-motivated individual with exceptional attention to detail. She brings 5+ years of experience in women’s apparel development and sourcing in activewear, basics, outerwear, and intimates. Juana has a wealth of knowledge in fabrics, garment construction, and garment costing. She also has a solid understanding and experience in production on a global scale. 

- Collaborates with design and influencers to source fabrics and trims, develop lab dips and strike offs per collection launch for each brand
- Places sample yardage order to the factory after fabric approval for PP making
- Tracks 3D approvals to ensure PP samples arrive by calendar deadline 
- Attends fittings and relay any comments/ updates to the factory
- Work on costing and retails to ensure brands meet all margins
- Request photoshoot samples from the factory after PPs are approved 
- Works with the factory on production dates based on each brand launch date 
 - Issue PO for gifting, e-comm and wholesale orders 
- Follows up with the factory to ensure all production is on track to x-factory


Product Development Specialist

- Seasonally works with design on fabric and trim sourcing, lab dip and strike off developments 
- Consults with design at concept meetings to ensure product feasibility 
- Submits tech packs to vendors with due dates and follows up on protos sample ready date to ensure on track with calendar 
- Updates systems throughout all stages of the product life cycle and tracks adoption rates seasonally 
- Negotiates costing to meet company’s target margin while maintaining standard quality 
- Attends fittings and communicates updates to vendors 
- Partners with cross-functional teams on any challenges and proposes solutions for a smooth transition to production

- Manages and tracks the development of samples
- Administers weekly reports including data entry into PLM system
- Communicates changes/ updates to cross-functional teams
