After shipping for a little over a year I was moved to Export Specialist where I would work with other warehouse operations personnel to ensure the timely execution of the Pick/Pack process. Then, after the order was finished being packed I'd prepare the proper export documentation required for Customs Clearance into that specific country-- Including but not limited to: a Shippers Letter of Instruction, a Commercial Invoice, a Pack list, a Certificate of Origin, a Power of Attorney, And a Consent to Screen. I would then communicate with the Freight Forwarder (that was chosen by the customer) to schedule a pick up of the shipment and provide them with the documents required for Customs. I never filed any exports with the AES, This was always done by the Forwarder. After pickup of the order I'd file any paperwork regarding the shipment in a physical folder as well as digitally on the M Drive of my Desktop as to allow co-workers at other campus locations access to the documents. This role also included "Inventory Team" responsibilities. The team was made up of my Supervisor and myself.

Pack, ship, and invoice orders that had been picked. I processed the majority of export shipments and the larger domestic orders in my time as a Shipping Clerk.
