Responsible for the safety, environmental, operational and financial performance of the facility.

Current role will expire January 1, 2013. Department oversight for Seattle WA and Oakland CA. Recruiting, evaluation, and development of staff. Direct customer representation for large Seattle customer (30% by volume). Sheet business pricing. Process development and improvement.

Direct reports included production scheduling, customer service, and shipping. Pricing for the majority of new business. Plant volume of 1.6 billion sq feet/year with more than 400 active customers. A great deal of sales contact and direct to customer.

Responsible for safety, quality, and productivity in a facility producing both corrugated and folding carton products. Variable workforce from 85-115 depending on customer needs.

Department oversight for five facilities in Rogers AR, Fort Smith AR, Muskogee OK, and Springfield MO (2). Recruiting, evaluation, and development of staff. Develop and improve processes and controls significant to customers. Inventory, min/max programs, and order sizing included.

Direct reports included, but weren't limited to Plant Manager and Customer Service Manager. Daily activity in production scheduling, pricing, safety, and quality. P&L responsibilities for forecasting, budgeting, and analysis.

Develop and improve process to increase daily shipments. Mostly short-order, high-margin business contingent on excellent customer service and meeting commitments.

Career began as miscellaneous labor. Worked in several positions in both converting and corrugator operations.
