Discovered a niche for high-quality custom headwear in the High School market. Used design skills and production experience to develop an attractive line for multiple sports, building to over $1 million in revenue in our fourth year. Made Prep Gear Headwear one of the best and most recognizable headwear brands in High School sports servicing over 2,500 schools and institutions nationwide. Areas of focus were sales, design, product development, marketing, and advertising.

Managed team of six people in the Creative department, responsible for the creation of new concepts/designs for caps, visors, and beanies. Oversaw design and approval for over $500k in annual contracts, including those pertaining to college licenses like UCLA and USC, and all four branches of the US Military. Also responsible for the Sample department (additional four direct reports) and made sure products were made to exact specifications and on time.

Managed a team with nine direct reports and lead the design of seasonal product lines for major sports licenses like NASCAR, NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLS, totaling more than $3 million in annual revenue. Also serviced high profile corporate clients like MATTEL, PEPSI, MILLER BREWING CO, ANHEUSER BUSCH, FORD CO, for an additional $2 million in annual revenue. Directed all the photo shoots, oversaw web development and lead the creation of all print and digital promotional materials. Worked closely with sample department and multiple overseas manufacturers. Primary point of contact for clients, responsible for fabric choices, color selection, and preparing samples for final approval.
