Owner and Creative Director | 01/2008 - 01/2015
Copper Blue Creative was a creative agency connecting the elements of design and business. Focusing
on design solutions to meet the clients business goals. Copper Blue built full marketing campaigns
from start to finish, that included print elements, out of home, digital and website creation. In the spring
of 2015, Copper Blue Creative was acquired by Elevator Agency and I went to work with Elevator to
ensure a smooth transition and help support the account strategy side of the business. I negotiated the
acquisition of the merger and the conversion of clients. My goal for the merger was to bring in even
greater digital capacity that the acquisition would bring to the Copper Blue Creative client base.
Clients of record - Coco’s Bakery, TaylorMade Golf, Ashworth, Maderas Golf Course, BioPop, BOOM,
KemperSports, Troon Golf and over 25 Golf Course and Resort properties through out the southwest.
• Drove the creative process by connecting with clients, discovering client needs, contract process,
concept development and brand tone. I lead multiple photo and video production shoots.
• Oversaw the design team to insure the creative is meeting the clients goals and objections while
staying on time and within budget.
• Hired and managed the creative and account team members along with the growth of the agency.
• Set up the agency business process and infrastructure including leasing office space, server and
software purchases and HR benefits for team members.

Owner and Creative Director | 01/2004 - 01/2008
Design heavy creative agency based in Carlsbad. Project work that varied from print to web design.
We had deep production roots and helped larger corporations and design teams meet their creative
workload. We built new brands and helped smaller private companies introduce new products into
the marketplace.
Clients of record - Sheraton Carlsbad, The Crossings at Carlsbad, Cocaine Energy Drink, GFH Boards,
Magnificent Trimmings, Skin Medica and ColorScience.
• Creative Director and Co-owner, I was on the client side to acquire new business, creative direction,
scope the work and project manage the design team.
• Drove the business until 2008 when economic conditions forced a restructuring of the company
which lead to the dissolution of the company in order to re-brand as Copper Blue Creative under
sole ownership to create a more profitable company.
