If you are looking for a talented, intelligent, and energetic young professional with excellent work experience, I may be just the candidate. I am a 2013 graduate of the University of Illinois at Springfield with a BA in English, I am actively engaged in a job search to find just the right opportunity. 

Most recently, while working at the United Way I have developed my administrative and creative skills from the Board of Directors I manage, the six working committees I coordinate, and running the office each day. A large part of my job relies on the design our advertisements, brochures, and all media coverage to ensure our mission is communicated effectively. In addition to the work I do in design, I also work with our local newspapers and radio stations. I write all news releases, radio scripts, as well as appearing on radio shows to advocate for United Way. Another big focus of my current job is creating content and updating our website and social media pages. I am the sole person responsible for this, so I have experience creating and editing all content. I also head the operations of coordinating five to seven major fundraisers each year. I play the leadership role from planning to execute a successful event. Many of my current skills relate to administration and communicating with the public, both are essential for the career path I have chosen.

•	Over ten years of professional working experience during which I’ve demonstrated strong planning, organizational, leadership, communication, public relations and project management skills.
•	Strong academic training in English and Communications, taking courses in Professional and Technical Writing, Mass Communication, Creative Writing, Public Speaking, The Media and Today, and others.
•	A high-energy spirit, strong intellectual capacity and drive to succeed that I know will serve me well as I further build my professional career.

While at Macy's I have been responsible for the Ready to Wear, Intimates, and Juniors departments. I have managed over 25 employees as direct reports, while elevating Macy's customer-focused philosophy to ensure the best shopping experience for each guest. I received the honor of Sales Manager of the Season for the Northwoods store during the Fall 2012, Fall 2013, Spring and Fall 2014 seasons by driving sales, credit, charity, and engagement on a daily basis. I plan and execute 5 major events each year to drive sales and community support. I also guide my team by consistently coaching and elevating their skills.
