• Managed all aspects of sourcing and production for a $90m men’s and boy’s sportswear and sweater business. • Developed an entirely new vendor base to accommodate the company’s shift into several new product categories. • Opened Jordan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Bangladesh, and India. • Negotiated all costs and determined wholesale prices for over 750 styles annually. • Negotiated container rates with steamship lines and freight forwarders. Consolidated shipments to realize a $20k savings in the first year. • Researched international and domestic markets to provide the company’s designers with fabric, yarn, silhouette, art trends, and technical innovations specific to their business needs. • Sourced new yarns (cashmere, silk, mohair, viscose blends, etc.) to support a new capsule collection for better department stores (Nordstrom, Bloomingdales). • Managed domestic staff of 7 direct reports plus fully owned offices in Korea, China and Vietnam.
