Substituting for Kindergarten to 5th grade. This job, as most teaching jobs, requires strong problem solving skills and organization. Without both, doing this job would be next to impossible.

As director of sports I created a community of caring and collaboration in for children aged 4-9. Developed students’ cooperative learning through kinesthetic activities. Modeled good sportsmanship, guidelines, and social responsibilities for all campers and employees. I supervised, managed, and coordinated activities with counselors. I assisted in estimating camp enrollment and budget

I was the school’s Science Teacher for Prekindergarten through 4th Grade. Teaching such a diverse range of students is a wonderful opportunity for me to experience children’s stages of development, growth, capabilities, and multiple intelligences. Science, for me, is learning through experience. Through creative project based activities, my students have experiences that foster meaningful knowledge instead of surface knowledge and help them to become lifelong learners.
