I'm currently the Purchasing and Sourcing Manager at Baker Boys Distribution; home to Deathwish Skateboards, Shake Junt Accessories, Baker Skateboards, Birdhouse Skateboards, Heroin Skateboards, Ashbury Eyewear, Illegal Civilization, ABC Hat Co., Volume 4 Apparel and Death Lens/Digital (previous clients/brands include Palace Skateboards and Brigada Eyewear).

In May 2015, I was appointed Brand Manager of Deathwish Skateboards overseeing and maintaining the brand inside and out, which I am still running.

My humble beginnings began after graduating from San Diego State University in 2006.  I had the unique opportunity to work in the music industry for the independent label Up Above Records.  For over four years I grew within the organization, and with guidance, gained valuable hands-on experience in all aspects of running a business.  I built an excellent rapport with everyone I worked with, including the Up Above Records President & staff, artists, distributors, vendors, and buyers.

Having worked with a variety of people at different management levels both inside and outside of the company, I have developed my strengths in management, communication and problem solving.  From sales and marketing, to accounting and logistics, production and budget management, I have had my hands in everything, and look forward to new experiences, as well.

•Create Purchase Orders in accounting software
•Create and maintain items in accounting software
•Assist with the preparation of budget and cost analysis for future lines
•Maintain blanket Purchase Order’s for staple products
•Seek, establish and maintain working relationship with vendors
•Assist with Art department calendar to ensure production is on schedule
•Assist with Art department to coordinate product samples, approvals, corrections and revisions
•Ensure materials and products are available for sales demand avoiding stock outages
•Interact with sales team and vendors to negotiate target costs, payment terms, and delivery schedule for items to maximize margins
•Create and coordinate delivery schedules for seasonal lines with vendors and Baker Boys warehouse staff
•Oversee proper shipping and packing requirements from vendors as specified by Baker Boys warehouse staff 
•Assist with Accounts Payable department to clear up all price and quantity discrepancies with vendors
