Brittanie Armstrong: Director of Marketing in Fullerton, CA

As the Marketing Director I oversee all aspects of B2B and B2C marketing for Seychelles Footwear and BC Footwear, defining long term strategy and producing seasonal content to support. I routinely work with a variety of vendors and creatives in the industry, from photographers, editors, stylists, copywriters, graphic designers, web developers and more, to produce compelling content that supports key messaging initiatives. Additionally, I manage a team that is specifically focused on growing the e-commerce channels into significant revenue drivers. I am proud to have overseen the launch of new websites for both brands during my tenure, leveraging best practices in SEO and data analytics to drive immediate, incremental sales growth.

My primary role at the JCCOC was to create digital content. This included everything from building a new website and email marketing program, to physically creating content. Here is where I learned the basics around shooting photography and video, post production editing, and graphic design.

I started at OneOC on a rebranding project as the organization changed its name, and was initially hired to maintain its website and email marketing channels. Eventually my role expanded into program management, supporting a curriculum program that provided vital business training to nonprofit organizations across the county. In this capacity I would manage the yearly schedule of classes, procure pro bono instructors, and oversee course registration and event set up.
