Tenikle® Founder & Chief Squid - "Shark Tank" Dealmaker

As a self-taught inventor, product designer, and entrepreneur, my journey has been deeply influenced by my roots in the surf apparel industry.

This unique background has formed my design philosophy, a harmonious blend of addressing consumer needs and weaving compelling marketing narratives. I take immense pride in the creation of Tenikle®, a DIY project that has blossomed into a multi-million dollar venture, serving as my real-world MBA.

Prior to its Shark Tank triumph in 2021, Tenikle was successfully crowdfunded via platforms like Kickstarter and IndieGogo, amassing approximately $172,000 in seed funding. This early success placed our campaign among the top 1% of Kickstarter projects at the time. The brand's growth journey didn't stop there; it eventually culminated in over $6 million in B2C sales. Inspired by this journey, I penned the 'D.I.Y. Inventor Kit,' a short E-book designed to ignite the spark of creativity in the next generation of inventors. With a deep-seated passion for environmental preservation, I am dedicated to mitigating the adverse effects of human activity on our global oceans. I design products with a strong sense of responsibility, considering the potential ramifications of using materials harmful to marine life. My ambition is to weave together creativity, commerce, and conservation, crafting a sustainable path towards a healthier planet.
