Senior Women's Denim Designer (Freelance)

• Managed team of 8 designers creating women’s denim and sportswear for all distribution channels
• Collaborated with Creative Director and Men’s Design Director to create and present the brand’s seasonal concept direction consisting of fabrics, washes, graphics, color, mood, construction and silhouette
• Rationalized denim fabric assortment by 25% with Production and Merchants to leverage volume across all channels, improve fit consistency, reduce cost, and strengthen mill relationships
• Optimized wash development process to improve relevancy to trend and concept while reducing oversampling
• Spearheaded the creation of extended size and APAC denim fits with Tech Design and Merchants to expand the body shape offering and achieve incremental sales growth for Spring 2019 forward

Women's Design Director

• Oversaw the design of all denim, tailored bottoms, jackets and outerwear equating to 33% of the company’s sales dollar volume
• Managed and guided workflow priorities for the Designer of jackets and outerwear
• Built all initial Proto tech packs by creating in-depth design diagrams, comprehensive BOMs, and writing detailed measurement information to ensure accurate sample execution
• Presented seasonal product line to executive team and all cross-functional partners at milestone meetings in NY
• Wrote all Proto comments and made all design updates to tech packs after fittings with Merchants, Tech Design and Production to ensure design intent came to fruition while exceeding fit, quality and margin expectations

Senior Designer, Jackets, Pants & Denim

• Developed seasonal line of denim, non-denim hard pieces and shirting to fit brand vision led by Design Director
• Led the cross-functional team that rebuilt and launched the new denim collection in 2008 with improved fits and rebranded marketing that grew the business into an incremental portion of annual sales, consistently beating margin and selling goals
• Created detailed flat sketches and tech packs in partnership with Tech Design to enable overseas vendors to make buy-ready development samples; attended all fittings to make sketch revisions and tech pack updates as needed

Designer, Casual Wovens

• Interpreted seasonal concepts and trends to create detailed flat sketches under direction of the Senior Designer
