Reef, A Division of VF Corporation
Forecasting Analyst | 04/2006 - 02/2014
When I began at Reef, I started as a Receptionist right after graduating from SFSU. Shortly after, I was promoted to a Production Specialist, then Apparel Planner, then finally Forecasting Analyst. In the last few years there, I actually was the key point person for all of the Operations on the Apparel side of the business. From forecasting product based on seasonal sales goals to tracking on-time performance with the vendors, I have high expertise the full Operational process.
In my latest Forecasting role, my responsibilities include the following:
• Forecast seasonal line plans utilizing top down and bottom up methods, historical sales data, and business trends.
• Develop and execute global buy plan with international distributors and domestic sales teams based on regional to-market dates and lead times from vendors.
• Manage and coordinate monthly purchasing cycle and seasonal sample buy with vendors for the domestic and international markets.
• Work closely with the VF compliance team to ensure that all vendors and factories producing the product are maintained at an “Accepted” level in the Fair Factories Clearinghouse database.
