-Created the vision for the themes and layout of the store to entertain the local community and seasonal tourists as a part of the initial management team at the Squam Lake MarketPlace (SQM). -Lead the purchasing, merchandising, and sales of the Marketplace, while coordinating with over 150 vendors to grow revenue to surpass the 1 million dollar milestone. -Hired, trained, and managed a team of 20 individuals to ensure the highest standard of experience to customers during their interaction at SQM. -Strategically created a community oriented atmosphere that draws in new customers and keeps them coming generating repeat sales. -Developed, maintained, and trained staff on the mobile Ipad-based POS system including set-up, inventory management, customer list management, and troubleshooting. -Managed all cash sales for SQM and Inn Kitchen + Bar from cashier to bank deposit.

-Lead the purchasing and merchandising of food and grocery items; with a focus on local products resulting an increased presence of local vendors at SQM. -Organized and created food packaging division making some of our most popular recipes from the SQM available for at home consumption. -Collaborated with other store managers to implement a product education program including signage, tasting notes, and samplings.

-Managed kitchen staff as a lead in at multiple stations, including sauté, grill, and appetizers. -Lead the way in creating menu ideas and specials, such as designing one of our most popular menu items- the paired seasonal cheeseboard. -Collaborated with our catering staff to design menus, envision appetizer and buffet table displays, and to execute the day of event catering plan with exceptional food and service.
