Hostess/Seater for Tusker House in Disney's Animal Kingdom. An all you can eat buffet with character breakfast and dinner. Duties include: greeting guests, making and checking in reservations, keeping track of wait times and walk in guests, using Table Management System and A La Carte, seating guests in designated areas, describing our restaurant's story and keeping with the theme, solving guest inconveniences and communicating with Servers, Cooks, Coordinators and Managers.

Attractions Operations in Epcot at Walt Disney World

Responsible for greeting and seating guests, being a great first and last impression, being knowledgeable of menu items and current promotions, recording customer reservations properly, setting tables appropriately, communicating with waitstaff and other Heart of House members to ensure guest needs are met, performing other duties during downtimes such as: rolling silverware, expediting orders, washing and organizing dishes, assisting with To Go orders, refilling condiments and sugar caddies, etc.

Oversee weekly production of 12-page Sonoma State STAR newspaper, including a team of section editors and staff writers.
